GALAHouse, Orange NSW

GALAHouse is designed for people; for family and for friends.

Inspired to form a re-connection to nature through the use of natural materiality, courtyards and light, this house feels like an extension of the landscape.

Designed as three pavilions in the garden and subtly separated by a glazed gallery and plant filled courtyards, each pavilion takes on a separate atmosphere and function, encouraging spaces to share with family and friends, or spaces for repose and relaxation.

The intentional use of scale, light and shadows affirm connections between elements of the architecture and nature to enhance a sense of connectedness to it’s beautifully landscaped courtyards and gardens.
